We have some amazing servants here at CRCC who volunteer week after week... I walked down into the children's ministry Sunday during the 2nd service - wow... Our kids are WELL CARED FOR and growing and learning week after week. Shawn Thompson is doing a great job heading up our ministry! During our last group season we decided to do a children's program for our kids so groups could meet on Sunday night and have a program just for them. Steve McDougal and a great team of people did an incredible job! Look at this note that came in from Kim Rhodes:
Shawn, Meant to catch your ear yesterday at church.... Just wanted you to know that the highlight of Emma's weekend the past 6 weeks has been attending Sunday night community time for the kids. Not sure who was leading that time or responsible for the planning on it but what they did with the kids was so good. To have them do ... Art/puppets/drama/worship/dance... (emma loved the art night) Anyway, it went across swell with our family and hope you all keep doing that... the kids really loved it! Emma is very sad it's all over.
So to all our wonderful volunteers - YEAH!!!! I'm so thrilled to have you on our team!!!
